Gunnar Allen

My name is Gunnar Allen. I am a 38 year old father, instructor and student. I grew up in Astoria, OR and have spent my career working in the Maritime Industry. I am currently the Bosun at Tongue Point Seamenship and a student in Nancy Cooks Writing 122 class. My goal, and I will say with confidence that I will obtain this goal, is to secure a position in the Business side of the Maritime Industry. I am juggling, work, college and getting my 1600 ton Mate/100 ton Master at Clatsop's M.E.R.T.'s center. Life is busy! Speaking of like, I love the outdoors and spend as much time as possible on my family's tree farm. It's a damn good way to stay in shape. I hunt deer and elk during their respective seasons like a madman and respect nature to the utmost. My true passion is music as I used to have hair down to my ass and play guitar. I still pick it up and will always have a guitar in the house. I definitely believe that you should treat every person as you would like to be treated yourself and surround yourself with positive people.
